Any club that has been in existence for over 100 years is bound to be steeped in tradition and the Port Elizabeth Golf Club, known to locals as 'The Hill', is such a club. You only have to spend a few minutes reading the Honours boards, hung in the gracious, spacious and renovated clubhouse, to realize this.
Renovations and improvements have also taken place on the golf course throughout the intervening years and the consequence is that this golf experience provides for the demand of today's standards, without impinging on the tradition and essence of such an historical club.
