Set amidst the rolling countryside of Andalucía, only five minutes from the fasionable resort of Marbella, is one of the finest championship courses in Europe.
Marbella Golf has an overall playing length of 6000 meters and a par rating of 72. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr.
The 18 hole layout was imaginatively conceived and is designed to compliment the existing environment and provide a testing but enjoyable game for golfers of different abilities. Bunkers abound and the rough can be difficult for shots that stray. Several lakes, which enhance the scenic value of the course particularly on the back nine, have to be successfully negotiated to preserve a reasonable score-card.
In addition to a championship golf course, Marbella Golf offer a first class restaurant and pro shop. The eventual construction of a swimming pool, tennis courts and gymnasium will mean that the club will become a leading leisure complex.
