The course is situated 2 miles south west of Dunstable on the Whipsnade Road on the crest of the Chiltern Hills nearly 800 feet above sea level (From the CONTACT US page go to LOCATION MAP for directions).
The Downs are famous as a beauty spot and viewpoint with a panorama taking in 7 counties. The bracing air, the glorious downland turf and the richly varied character of the terrain make it an ideal spot for a golf course.
The Club dates officially from 1906.
The Course
Dunstable Downs Golf Club provides an interesting challenge for golfers of all abilities. There are 18 holes over 6251 yards par 70. Holes 1 to 10 are parkland in nature; holes 11 to 18 along the top of the Downs are very "links" in nature.
